Luke 24:13-35
Living From Point B to Point A

Trace the journey of the two disciples who walked home to Emmaus on a long journey who are joined by Jesus as they walk along the way. With Jesus clearly in charge of what takes place next, we discover that Jesus reveals who He really is and that it is often in the messiest of times that Jesus shows up. And when He does, He reveals Himself in ways previously unknown to us even as He redirects us in the direction He wants us to go. In the end, we discover Jesus in the center of our lives not as we are walking and doing what comes natural to us (traveling from Point A to Point B) but when we travel in a direction we never would have thought of, a journey initiated by the directions Jesus gives us which often means going from Point B to Point A once again. It is in this way that Jesus lives in and through and even at times, in spite of us.
