Due to your generous donations to the General Fund during the month of December the church is now in a healthy financial position at the half-way point in our fiscal year. Thank you!
The church has been able to keep expenses below the budget, however revenues were down by 15% from budget forecasts at the end of November. We are praying that strong giving in December will address the shortfall we experienced in the fall.
Due to your generous donations to our benevolent fund, Vernon Alliance Church is making a significant different in our local community by supporting individuals with necessities of life, counselling and supporting local organizations that reduce conditions of poverty and spread the gospel.
Although VAC's Benevolent Fund is well supported, giving to our General Fund has fallen behind. Revenue is approximately 17% less than was budgeted based on forecasted revenues. So far this year we are spending more than we bring in to keep our building and ministries running. As donations have been counted in November, there is approximately $40,000 less than forecasted for giving. But, you can help! We are asking you to consider giving to the General Fund when you make your year-end charitable donations. "
VAC has been able to keep expenses below budgeted amounts, however the projected giving is lower than forecasted creating a negative net income. Giving does fluctuate during the year and we hope to recover these costs in short order.
VAC has been able to keep expenses below budgeted amounts, however projected giving is lower than forecasted creating a slightly negative net income. It is still very early in the church ministry year, meaning there is ample opportunity to recover this small deficit.
