Caring For Our Community
Thursdays from 9 - 11am

Common Threads continues to serve our community in a tangible way each week, with all Covid precautions in place. Our indoor sit-down option has reopened, and all our meals are served with a smile in convenient to-go containers. Our clothing program is also open, and we can allow a certain number of guests in during Thursday hours.

Our clothing donation chute is OPEN for donations during VAC office hours. CT will also gladly receive toiletries, bedding, towels, jackets and sweaters to distribute to those in-need. Please note, we cannot accept housewares, furniture or decor items.

CURRENT NEEDS:
CT is in need of some specific donations at this time: Sleeping Bags, hygiene products (men & women), blankets, hoodies & jackets.

VOLUNTEERS:
CT are also in need of more volunteers to help with sorting on Tuesday mornings from 9-11. Please contact Will if you are interested in helping.

Get to Know CT

Common Threads was formed to compassionately serve our church and community. CT runs out of our Arbour building, and provides food, clothing and care to those in need.

Anyone in need! CT was created to compassionately serve and care for ANYONE in our church and community in need of food, clothing and/or care.

If you, your family, or someone you know is in need, visit Common Threads during open hours to receive a FREE hot meal, clothing for all ages, bread, a conversation, and a kind smile. We occasionally are also able to provide haircuts when volunteers are available. We advise calling ahead to find out the schedule for haircuts.*
We are also proud to occasionally partner with other local non-profits & businesses to provide fresh produce in-season.

*haircut service currently unavailable due to the Covid-19 pandemic
