Work on the house situated on the Vernon Alliance campus is now nearing completion! We want to thank the dozens of volunteers who repaired, painted, scrubbed, cleaned the house and yard to refurbish that house into a home and prrepare it for renting. Special thanks to Devon Carbol and Corie Wetherill who coordinated and donated hundreds of hours to the project. We are excited for next steps. The Board of Elders has allowed us to utilize the home as an outreach to address the affordable housing crisis in Vernon, which means we can offer the rental below fair market value. We have our first renters ready to move in, October 1, 2024. After great consideration of other options, we have decided to offer this first rental opportunity to our Youth Pastor and his family. Levi and Emma are excited about all the benefits that living close to the church will bring. Thanks to all who made this project possible.
