The Family Pantry pilot project has concluded, but we have decided to keep the program going because of the overwhelming need in the community.
Did you know that we provided over 1,100 articles of clothes and over $10,000.00 worth of groceries to vulnerable families in our community between January and June? Right now, 37 households are served by the Family Pantry. Numerous community service organizations, including Vernon District Immigration, Interior Health, and North Okanagan Youth and Family Services, have referred these families to the Pantry.
Contributions to the benevolent fund, groceries (a list is available online), clothing (especially baby clothes), or gift cards for our sale shoppers to use at the store are all ways you can help this amazing initiative.
