Join us for a 5-day, immersive experience in authentic, holistic Christian discipleship. You will be challenged to revisit Jesus' call on your life in a truly unique environment (after all, our Lord did spend a good amount of time with his disciples on the water!).

Our adventure will take us through the Southern Gulf Islands on a majestic wooden tall ship–The Pacific Grace. This ship and experience is made possible by partnering with the Sail & Life Training Society (www.salts.ca). You will live as a community, adopting the rhythms of life and work aboard our vessel, embracing sail training, simplicity (this is not a cruise ship!) and a posture of learning.

Through individual and group experiences, we will be challenged to reflect on the ongoing, developmental work of Jesus in our lives. We will then consider how he wants to renew his unique call for the season ahead. All of this will take place as we sail in the unparalleled beauty of Canada’s west coast.  No previous sailing experience required!

Who’s Leading?

Drew Hayes & Jason Koleba

Jason serves as Lead Pastor of Vernon Alliance and is passionate about helping people encounter God outside. He and his wife Cindy have led groups from Masai Mara National Park in Kenya to the Broken Island Group on the West Coast of Vancouver Island to mountain meadows in Yoho National Park in BC. He is excited to see how God will work in this next adventure.

Drew Hayes has been involved in experiential Christian education for 30 years. He has led hundreds of individuals in opportunities just like this one - a chance to reconnect with God, having space to truly engage creation, important questions and reimagine what lies ahead. He has years of sea time with SALTS and understands the unique experience this week will hold for anyone willing to step onboard…
