Brenda Richards
Brenda has served at VAC for 34 years with her husband and family.  She says God has gifted her with a simple, practical faith to journey alongside people with care and compassion.  "From a young girl I knew that Jesus chose me and placed a song in my heart ...”this is the dearest that Jesus loves ME!”"

Dan Draht
Dan was born and raised in Vernon and in the Alliance Church.  He is a lawyer at Nixon Wenger LLP, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and new son, Theodore.

"I grew up in a little town in northern BC and my family always came to Vernon on vacation.  My husband and I both grew up loving Kal Lake and we can't believe we get to live here!  We've got three girls and when I'm not busy being a mom, I love  to work doing interior design, wakesurf or snowboard depending on the season and dream of one day travelling again!"

Lisa Hobenshield
I am married to Hal, and together we are raising two beautiful girls, Kate & Allie, on a small hobby farm North of Venon. I am a Registered Nurse and am working on a new project as the Transformational Lead for Emergency Services Network in Interior Health. In my spare time I enjoy being outside with my family, enjoying all the fun things the Okanagan has to offer!

Sam Reeves
Sam was born and raised in Kelowna, and grew up in the Alliance Church. She now lives in Vernon, and is married to Connor. She has worked with VAC Student Ministries for several years, along with working for the local Boys & Girls Club. Sam is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves exploring all the beautiful places our province has to offer.
